da 888casino: Tottenham Hotspur fell to yet another defeat in the Premier League last night, as Bournemouth claimed a needed win in their hunt to secure top-flight survival.

da pixbet: Mathys Tel gave Thomas Frank’s men the lead after just five minutes, but found themselves a goal behind just 30 minutes later after goals from Evanilson and Eli Kroupi Junior.

However, Joao Palhinha looked as though he had secured a point on the South Coast after he found the back of the net with less than 15 minutes remaining with a superb overhead kick.

Antoine Semenyo, who was a target for Spurs this winter, was always going to have a say on his final game for the Cherries – with the Ghanaian international finding the winner in stoppage time

Such a result will no doubt crank up the pressure on manager Frank once again, with numerous players who were selected to start the game failing to deliver once again.

Spurs’ poor performers against Bournemouth

Micky van de Ven was once again selected to start at the heart of the backline alongside Cristian Romero, but it’s certainly was an evening to forget for the Dutchman.

The 24-year-old failed to win any of his attempted tackles, whilst losing 67% of the aerial battles he entered – subsequently being unable to keep a clean sheet once again.

Along with picking up a booking for his protests over the penalty reversal, he was pictured confronting fans at the final whistle, which no doubt has left a sour taste in the mouths of the travelling supporters.

He wasn’t alone in struggling to deliver at the Vitality, with midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur once again appearing wasteful in possession – not for the first time this campaign.

The Uruguayan international featured for 86 minutes before being withdrawn for Archie Gray, but he was fortunate to remain on the pitch for as long as he did, given his poor figures.

During his performance, the former Juventus star lost possession on 11 separate occasions, with two of his attempted passes being made into the final third.

The Spurs star who had fewer touches than Vicario

The defeat against Andoni Iraola’s men now makes it just one win in the last six league matches for Spurs, which no doubt has cranked up pressure on boss Frank.

The Dane arrived with huge expectations to push the side forward after their Europa League triumph; however, the defeat keeps the Lilywhites in the bottom half of the Premier League table.

They are now just four places and 11 points above the drop zone – subsequently sitting closer to relegation and a repeat of last season rather than fighting for Europe.

The January window could hand the manager a chance to improve his squad, but that could all depend on whether the hierarchy decide he is the right man to take the club forward.

However, one player must no longer be a part of the starting eleven past the January window, with Randal Kolo Muani massively struggling to adapt to the demands of England’s top-flight.

The Frenchman was handed a start in a number nine role instead of Richarlison, but his underlying figures highlight why it was the wrong call by Frank on the South Coast.

He featured for 67 minutes during the defeat, subsequently registering a total of 19 touches – a tally fewer than that of goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario, who registered 57.

Kolo Muani’s other figures certainly didn’t make for good reading, with the loanee only winning one of the 12 duels he entered – subsequently losing a total of 91%.

He also only managed to complete a measly total of six passes, while failing to complete any of his attempted dribbles and being unable to register a single effort on goal.

The Frenchman tried to make a nuisance of himself without the ball, which led to him making two fouls and picking up his third yellow card since his move from PSG.

As a result of his display, the centre-forward was handed a measly 3/10 match rating from Football London journalist Alasdair Gold, with content creator Seb Martin labelling him as “anonymous”.

After such a showing, Frank will no doubt be left with no other alternative but to drop the forward, with Richarlison desperately needing to start in the club’s next match.

It’s clear that investment is still needed within the final third of the pitch this season, with the club facing the prospect of another dismissal season in the Premier League.
