da bwin: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) group looking to buy Newcastle United have dealt a fresh blow to the chances of a takeover going through.
da cassino online: As per The Mirror, the KSA consortium has reportedly ‘turned its attentions’ to Inter Milan and is ‘working on’ a deal with the current Serie A league leaders.
Newcastle takeover blow
The news that the group is turning their attentions elsewhere suggests that they are starting to lose interest in a takeover at St James’ Park.
At the moment, there has been no clear pathway made for the KSA’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) to come back onto the table, and it is vital that this happens if the original bid has any chance of coming back into fruition.
There is also the pending arbitration case between Newcastle and the Premier League, which may produce a negative result for the former.
Nonetheless, with the Tyneside club dramatically increasing their chances of avoiding relegation to the Championship with a 3-2 win over West Ham on Saturday, it is likely that talks over a potential takeover for the Magpies will have to resume at the end of the season, especially given the strong interest from the consortium in Inter.
