    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Tah played a crucial role as Leverkusen went unbeaten to win the Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal crowns in the 2023-24 season, while they lost in the Europa League final. He initially agreed to join Bayern a year ago, but has revealed that the "natural aura" of then-coach Xabi Alonso convinced him to stay for one more year.

  • WHAT KANE SAID

With the move now finalised, Bayern's star striker Kane is delighted to have the Germany international on board, saying on : "I think he's a great signing. Obviously I played against him a lot in the last two years and he has everything you want in a centre-back, big, strong, got presence, great on the ball. He's a great addition to the team. I'm looking forward to meeting up at the Club World Cup and getting our journey started together."
