da esoccer bet: Newcastle United are now racing to sign a Premier League attacker in a deal worth over £50m, according to recent reports.
Newcastle racing to sign £50m+ attacker
da lvbet: Newcastle’s frontline has endured a mixed season so far. Nick Woltemade got off to an electric start, but has recently struggled to make the same impact as games come thick and fast. Yoane Wissa was handed a stuttered start thanks to an instant injury – he’s shown glimpses of quality in recent weeks. And the less said about Anthony Elanga, the better.
The £55m winger, who became one of the most expensive signings in Newcastle history in the summer, is yet to make his mark in Tyneside and has even fallen down the pecking order.
After 26 appearances, he remains without a goal and with just two assists to his name. In many ways, the Swede has been one of the most disappointing signings of the season.

It would be harsh to claim that Elanga’s Newcastle career is destined to end before it’s even got started, but the transfer window could certainly compound his misery.
The Magpies are already reportedly targeting the likes of Rayan Vitor following the South American’s recent rise, although they’re not the only side interested.
Meanwhile, those at St James’ Park are also reportedly eyeing a Premier League attacker. According to Caught Offside, Newcastle are racing to sign Kevin Schade alongside Aston Villa in a deal worth between €50–60m (£43-52m).
The Brentford winger has been in fine form this season and could become the latest player to leave West London for better things.
£50m+ Schade could replace Elanga
The Magpies already spent big to sign Wissa from Brentford last summer and could now do the same to sign Schade. The 24-year-old has very much stepped up since the Bees’ attack was torn apart in the summer, especially alongside striker Igor Thiago, and could be a strong candidate to do what Elanga hasn’t at Newcastle.

Brentford boss Keith Andrews has been among those to hand the winger plenty of praise this season, telling reporters when he netted a hat-trick against Bournemouth: “I feel like in the last couple of weeks he’s been starting to get into really good positions and getting really really close and today was a really nice hat-trick right foot left foot header.

The numbers indicate that Schade would be an instant upgrade on the struggling Elanga, whose take-on success has been particularly poor throughout the campaign.
Whether Newcastle are willing to splash out to welcome another winger one year on from the Swede remains to be seen, however.
