da betway: Southampton are hopeful that Manolo Gabbiadini will return to fitness in time for the team’s Premier League game against Manchester City on April 15, according to the Daily Mail.
da dobrowin: The 25-year-old suffered a groin injury 35 minutes into the Saints’ 2-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur and had to be replaced with Shane Long.
The problem was severe enough for him to withdraw from the Italy squad for games against Albania and the Netherlands this week.
Southampton’s next game is a league clash at home to Bournemouth on April 1, but it seems that it will come too early for Gabbiadini.
The Daily Mail reports that the forward is likely to be on the sidelines for three weeks and is aiming to be fit for the clash against City at St Mary’s.
Gabbiadini has been a welcome addition to Claude Puel’s side since his £14.6m switch from Napoli in January.
